Here are a list of my Go To Donation Resources:

Mission of Deeds – Reading, MA

They will take furniture and household goods for anyone starting out in a new place. Linens, towels, lamps, framed artworks, anything someone would need starting out. Make an appointment ahead for the company to pick up your donations.

Goodwill Truck at Whole Foods – Woburn, MA

This location will take almost anything except toys. Plus you can go grocery shopping right afterwards. Win Win!

Bikes Not Bombs – Dorchester, MA

Bikes Not Bombs will take any bicycles and refurbish them for kids in need. This is a great program!

St. Mary’s School & Winchester Recreation Department – Winchester, MA

Two book bins in Winchester, the books go to GOT BOOKS and the money goes back to each organization.

Food/Dry Goods:

Stop by your local grocery store and ask for the food donation bin. Stop & Shop -Winchester, MA has a bin at the exit which goes to the St. Mary’s Tree of Life Food Pantry.

Council of Social Concern in Woburn, MA and The Jenks Center in Winchester, MA will also take food donations.
